The Phil's Music as Medicine™ program is an ongoing program dedicated to researching classical music's positive effects on people struggling through the challenges of disease and illness.

In the spring of 2011, the first phase of a study to measure the effects, if any, of live music on the symptoms of people with Parkinson’s disease was conducted. The results of that study are leading to continued research which is scheduled to take place in the fall of 2011. Thank you to PHP for their financial support of this study as well as IPFW for their research support.
