The Fort Wayne Philharmonic is currently hiring the following office positions listed below:




Director of Regional Programs

Position Category: Full Time, Exempt

Duties and Responsibilities: The Director of Regional Programs is directly responsible for the planning and implementation of strategic growth of the Philharmonic’s regional events. This position also serves as a networking resource to individual department heads to assist in implementing events. The direct responsibility of implementing regional events will reside with the individual departments.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music, Business or Arts Management (Master’s degree preferred). S/he will have a personal commitment to symphonic music, entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks accurately and quickly, and a strong attention to detail. S/he will have the ability to learn new tasks quickly, apply new skills to diverse tasks, and possess strong deductive reasoning and analytical skills.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and job performance. Benefits include health and dental insurance, 403(b) plan, and paid vacation, holiday and sick leave.

Organization description: Under the artistic leadership of Music Director Andrew Constantine, the Fort Wayne Philharmonic is the premiere arts organization in northeast Indiana. Celebrating our 66th season, the Fort Wayne Philharmonic performs 420 concerts each year throughout our 13 county service area.

Operating on a $4.2 million budget with a $10 million endowment, the Philharmonic employs 41 full time musicians on a 37-week season. The orchestra is supported by 13 full time and 7 part time staff members and a board of 43.
